It’s been a busy week at Double Edge PR! On Thursday, Double Edge hosted a Shoe Styling Morning Tea on behalf of Mister Minit. Our VIP media guests were treated to Mister Minit’s top tips for looking after your shoes and a shoe styling session on the hottest trends right now lead by Wendy Mak, from Smitten With Style. The morning finished up with podiatrist Kate McArthur sharing some invaluable tips on how to avoid damaging ourselves when trying to rock a pair of killer heels.

On Thursday night Double Edge assisted in launching the official Ocsober NSW campaign with a VIP Media event at Hugo’s Lounge in Kings Cross. We had a great turn out with appearances from our Ocsober Ambassadors including Richard Wilkins, Ellyse Perry, Nathan & Haley Bracken, Blake Worrall-Thompson, Deedee Z, Nathan Joliffe, Zoe Bingley-Pullin and a special performance by Arrnott Olssen. Our guests were treated to a Mocktail Mixology class and speeches by Jay Bacik, CEO of Life Education NSW, and President of the NSW Police Association, Scott Weber. A big thank you to everyone for supporting Life Education’s Ocsober.

Today the Double Edge team stretched their sea legs on HMAS Tobruk for the Navy’s official Ocsober launch on the east-coast. This is the third year running that Navy personnel have supported Ocsober and we look forward to working with them to help support Life Education in delivering their health and drug programs to schools with their mascot, Healthy Harold.
