Double Edge PR would like to take this opportunity to profess our love of all things furniture! And, lucky for us, we are the proud publicists for the Australian International Furniture Fair (AIFF) and Decoration + Design Sydney.
The trade show is responsible for featuring the latest furniture and furnishing designs from more than 200 Australian and international exhibitors. AIFF also forecasts design and furniture trends, unearths emerging talent and presents insights from international opinion-leaders in design.
This year’s fair was held at the Sydney Exhibition Centre from 2-4 February 2011. It attracted a record attendance of over 6,600 buyers from Australia and overseas. We also secured a record amount of coverage!

The work of Australia’s most promising fledging furniture designers was unveiled at The Edge design competition, with awards announced on the opening day. Featuring the work of 46 emerging designers, winners were announced across Student, Commercial, Concept and Green categories.
The Student winner was Daniel Mazic from UTS with his asymmetrical Contour Chair, commended for its unique shape and great craftsmanship
